Midbrain Activation or Brain Activation has recently been spreading well all across the world. How can brain stimulation make a child “see” with eyes closed? How does it work? For instance, a child is detecting an object, i.e., he is reading a newspaper headline. With his eyes closed, the child must concentrate peacefully, so that he can guess accurately. “BABIES ARE GENIUSES” In his book, “Babies are Geniuses”, Shickhida says that another name for the right brain is the “image brain,” It is the part of the brain by which we ‘see’ when we are visualizing, imaging of dreaming. Further more, the right brain mind can actually create mental images from the information stored in the cells of the body, which serves in the basis for extra sensory perception. Having a photographic memory can recall any information from any book he has read or page he has seen.  Each page can be viewed on the screen of his mind as if it were a snapshot. Because the right and left brain hemispheres functions as opposites they also compliment each other. The left brain is conscious and logical, takes in information slowly and likes repetition. The right brain is subconscious, intuitive and takes in information quickly.

RIGHT BRAIN CAPABILITIES THATALLCHILDREN POSSESS ARE : Corresponding to the 5 senses of the left brain, (sight, hearing touch taste, smell) the brain also has its 5 senses. However they are not the senses of sight and hearing in the normal manner, but the ability to see, hear things through waves translated into images. Right brain powers include photographic memory, visualization, intuition, extra-sensory perception (ESP), high procession speed. He gives the four following functions discovered in the right brain :1) Reasonance function 2) imaging function 3) High-speed mass memory function and 4) High-speed automatic processing function. To make the Right brain keeps active everyday practice is needed or at least three times a wek. To do this, the parents’ role is highly needed to help their children maintain their Right Brain Active. This training is aimed to make the balance of left and right brain is always maintained. With the balance of left and right brains, the children will have good analyzing capability (left brain) and (right brain). It’s important to notice that parents shall not force to do this exercise, if their children are not in the mood. Use good approach and praise them if they like undergo exercise.


  • Drink fresh water before you practice.

  • Conduct the training by closing the eyes using a piece of cloth. For this activity, you must prepare a pack of playing cards, reading cards, pictorial cards and coloring book. For reading cards, pictorial cards, coloring book you can buy in the bookstore.
  • Do practice regularly to make his/her capability sharper.
  • The parents who train their children are suggested to praise if the child likes to practice, each time the child successfully recognize (color, images text), and a praise shall be given if a child fails to recognize (color, images test), give him/her motivation in order not to make him/her disappointed, because he/she still can try it again. Don’t let down the child’s mental, when he/she wrongly recognize (color, images text), or humiliates him/her by saying that the child has peeped. According to our experience so far, if the parent make down the child’s mental then the child will need longer time to recognize (color, images text).
  • Grow your child up in an environment full off motivation, so that the child will always be optimistic and has attitude of never give up during his/her life.
  • Stress, Fear, Depression and Hesitation decreases the efficiency of the mid brain.
  • Excessive TV. Computer, Mobile Phones, Junk food (Maida, Sugar, Fried Food, Cold Drinks, Salt, etc in excess) less sleep and less physical exercises reduces the efficiency of the mid brain.
  • Fruits, Saleds, Sprouts, Nut, Juices, Whole Grains, Pranayam, Meditation, Yoga, Music Dance, Laughter help in increasing the efficiency of the mid brain faster.
  • Don’t ever force your kid to display is talents in front of other until and unless he is willing.


In order to test a child, we shall not push or force him/her. For those who don’t what, sometimes we have to approach him/her through his/her hobby. For example, a child has a hobby of playing soccer, then we could test him through asking him to find a ball and let him kick the ball with his eyes closed. Some requirements while testing a child are : The child must be in his/her good mood. And if he/she doesn’t want, don’t force him/her because needs good concentration. When a child concentrate him/herself, try not to touch his/her body, either through squeezing, touching the face and other disturbances, because these may disturb his/her concentration. If his/concentration is disturbed, then the intuition/radar is difficult to be activated. Being exhausted/hot weather can also cause a child feels hard to concentrate. So, make sure that all is convenient, both the child’s personality and the surrounding. Test the child’s radar capability by testing him/her using an eyes cover made of cloth. Try to ask him to guess a picture/card from a distance (without touching the object) or to guess something inside a closed box. If still successful, test him/her through detecting something behind a wall, and for still higher capability, he/she shall be able to guess which card is going to displayed while the card pack is being shaked.   1. Guess a color : The children are given a piece of origami paper and asked to guess its color
  2. Guess a playing card : The children are requested to guests a card’s color, type (spade, clover, diamond and heart) and a figure on a card.
  3. Coloring : The children color a picture without overriding the boundary fine.
  4. Reading a newspaper’s headline. The text read is the one with large Characters.
  5. You create Obstacle using some plastic bottles and place it on the floor, making a line. The children must walk through the bottles without hitting them.
  6. Cycling while their eyes closed.
  7. Guessing a color kept in a closed box.
  8. Wherever necessary, you may conduct another test based on a child’s hobby. Beside testing, the children sometimes feel tried, because this process is surely energy consuming. A: There are some children (less than 5%) was are not used to the vigorous brain exercises and hence they may experience dizziness of ‘tired brain’ after the Workshop. Hypothetically, a body that seldom exercises will experience fatigue and even muscle pain after vigorous physical activities. There goes the same to our brain, however these minor symptoms are only temporary and it will not affect the child.
